MORNING HELICOPTER RIDE TO the TOP OF BALDY
Do you want to start your day on Baldy in style? How about taking a helicopter ride instead of a chairlift to the top? Guests will depart with their gear from Sun Valley Heli Ski’s Headquarters at the Sun Valley Gun Club for a helicopter ride to SVHS’s heli pad next to the Lookout Lodge on the summit of Baldy. Enjoy fantastic views of Baldy and the surrounding Wood River Valley and the Pioneer and Boulder Mountains on the approximately 5 minute ride. It is a fantastic experience for young and old alike. Guests also have the option to fly back to the Gun Club rather than ski the resort. These trips are sold by the group.
A Sun Valley lift ticket, Epic or season pass is required and is not included in the cost of the helicopter ride.
Guests must also arrange for their pick up at Baldy at the end of the day as SVHS will NOT provide a shuttle back to the Gun Club.
Please note that the Morning Helicopter Ride to the Top of Baldy is not available at all times.

PAYMENT TERMS
SVHS requires clients to fully complete a binding on-line registration form and pay in full in order to reserve a group for a helicopter ride to the top of Baldy. This is also non-refundable. The only exception to our refund policy is when we are unable to fly due to weather or other circumstances in SVHS’s sole discretion. In that case, the entire purchase price is refunded, less a 6% Administrative Fee. Charges and credits may be placed in your account and will be subject to the policies then in effect for future usage. Discounted rates are only good for the date of the original reservation(s). Any reservations changed to another date may be subject to a rate increase if you change to a day that the discounted rate is no longer available. HELI RIDE TO TOP OF BALDY ITINERARY
You will need to attend a safety briefing prior to flying with us. Attending this briefing is mandatory for all guests. We typically hold the briefing on the morning of the fly day at 9:00 am at our headquarters at the Sun Valley Gun Club. On some occasions, we may pre-brief groups in advance. SVHS also requires that you sign a Waiver and Release prior to your fly day. We encourage you to read this important document prior to your briefing. It is available in the footer on the bottom of this page under “Waiver and Release”
8:45 AM: Guest Arrival – Sun Valley Heli Headquarters- Sun Valley Gun Club
9:00 AM is our typical starting time, unless you are otherwise advised by the SVHS staff. The Gun Club is located at the end of Trail Creek Road in Sun Valley. It is imperative that you arrive on time as late arrivals can delay your group and other groups of skiers and riders. Upon arrival, all guests will be greeted by a SVHS staff member and then weighed. Once all the weights have been taken and people have organized their gear, the guests will receive a short safety briefing.
9:20 AM: Depart for Baldy
Enjoy the amazing 5 minute helicopter ride to the top of Baldy. We land at “Jakes”, which is located right next to the Lookout Lodge on the very summit of Baldy. From there, guests can either take their gear and ski the resort or return back to the Gun Club via the helicopter.
